Holiday on weekends: Ministry of Labor is against
If leave is granted to the employee for only two days and these vacation days fall on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday), labor inspectors may consider this a violation.

The labor department has finally directly answered the question of whether a separate part of the annual paid leave can completely coincide with the weekend. The answer is categorical: no, it cannot!
According to the Ministry of Labor, the provision of leave only on weekends does not meet the requirements of labor legislation. For such an offense committed for the first time, the employer faces a fine in the amount of 1,000 to 5,000 rubles for individual entrepreneurs and from 30,000 to 50,000 for organizations (Part 1 of Article 5.27 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
But if an employee’s vacation begins on a day off, but also captures regular business days (for example, in the case when leave is provided from Saturday to Tuesday inclusive), there is no violation of this.
